The 64th ICBL (2024)
The 64th International Conference on the Bioscience of Lipids
The International Conference on the Bioscience of Lipids (ICBL) is the foremost academic forum in the world today. The 64th conference was held during Oct. 15-18, 2024 at the National Biotechnology Park, Taiwan. Our company's founder and CEO, Dr. Chu-Huang (Mendel) Chen, MD PhD, was invited to participate in the opening speech of the conference. In his speech, Professor Chen described the history of low-density cholesterol (LDL) research and its clinical application in predicting atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) risk. Moreover, Professor Chen explained the role of electronegative lipoprotein in ASCVD and emphasized that electronegative low-density cholesterol (L5) is the real “bad cholesterol”.
Our company also set up a booth and provided free blood test services during the conference. In addition to the general blood cholesterol testing items, we also provided electronegative low-density lipoprotein relative quantification analysis (L5%).
